Switch to LED lighting

Are you thinking about switching to LED lighting with your company? Very well! Whether you have an office, a store or a large warehouse, switching to LED lighting is a good idea in almost all cases. You probably know what the benefits of LED lighting are, which has made you interested in switching to LED lighting. But what should you pay attention to? You can read all about it in the article.

Switching to LED lighting: more and more companies are doing it

We have already written about the exponential growth in the use of LED lamps. More and more companies are realizing the point. And often not only for saving energy and therefore also for costs, but also for the excellent quality of LED lighting and the possibility to create any desired atmosphere with it.
Of course, there are other reasons why more and more companies are switching to LED lighting. For example, the government is busy fighting climate change and various measures are being set up. For example, one receives a subsidy for switching to energy-efficient facilities such as LED lighting. There may from 2023 only offices with energy use C or higher. The government even goes one step further and wants to make LED lighting compulsory for every company in 2020. There are therefore more and more reasons for switching to LED lighting.

Switch to save energy

In the end, it is therefore probably compulsory for every company to switch to LED lighting. But why would you switch now? One of the biggest reasons for this is the energy savings that you thereby achieve. Because LED lighting gives virtually no heat emission, no energy is lost here either. This allows you to save a lot of energy, and you will notice it in your wallet. The sooner you switch to LED lighting, the sooner you notice that of course.

Other reasons for switching to LED lighting

With LED lighting you can do a lot more than with conventional lighting! You can create any desired atmosphere, making LED lighting perfect in the hospitality industry, for example. Atmospheric light in the restaurant, practical light in the kitchen. In the store, special products can be highlighted with it and in the office with LED lighting can be ensured for higher productivity.

Have a light plan made

When you switch to LED lighting, it is not a matter of simply removing your old lighting and the new lighting. It is smart to have a complete lighting plan made so that you can optimally benefit from your lighting. A lighting plan takes into account different types of lighting:
  • basic lighting. That is the general lighting in the room that must ensure that when it is dark outside, everything is lit.
  • mood lighting. With lighting, a certain atmosphere can be created, which is created by contrasts. Too much contrast causes too much tension, but only basic light again creates an atmospheric space.
  • functional lighting. This is lighting with a certain function. For example, to find things or to read well.
  • targeted lighting. This illuminates a specific piece of furniture, for example.
  • decorative lighting. This is lighting without the goal of really illuminating anything, but purely with a decorative function.

Advice for a good lighting plan

A good lighting plan is of course made by a real specialist. But of course, you can also think about it yourself. You can also consult LED Design Holland for advice on drawing up a lighting plan. We are happy to visit you to view the company-specific situation and to prepare a lighting plan for you. Of course, it always helps if you have already thought about the distribution and function of the light. Consider, for example, the type of lighting and the use of color. If we come to see the current lighting and discuss the wishes, we can also make a calculation of the savings that you can realize with LED lighting. We, therefore, calculate your payback time so that you know immediately where you stand after our appointment. Want to know more or would you like to have a lighting plan drawn up? Please contact us for more information or to make an appointment. We are happy to help you further!
